vascutouch The VASCUTOUCH™ provides an inexpensive means to quickly and easily
remove vascular lesions such as Telangiectasia (distended capillaries),
cherry angiomas, spider veins, and skin tags found on the face and
body. The VASCUTOUCH™ yields superior results when compared to other
electronic devices that commonly cause scarring and hypo and hyper
pigmentation. When compared to laser treatment, the VascuTouch™
produces similar results without the pain, bruising, or high treatment
costs.

What Are Vascular Blemishes?

vascutouchresultsBroken capillaries and spider veins are classified in medical
terminology as “telangiectasia”. There are many different names
associated with these lesions, including “Blood Mole”, ”Blood Dot”, as
well as the cosmetic/aesthetic term, “Couperose Skin”. Blood moles
resemble a red dot or patch and can appear nearly anywhere on the body.
Capillaries under the eye or around on the nose as well as the neck or
upper chest are vascular blemishes treatable with the VASCUTOUCH™

The VASCUTOUCH™ is a better way to remove telangiectasia. This quick
and simple treatment will not cause scarring or hyper pigmentation. The
VascuTouch™ uses very low levels of Radio Frequency (RF) and DC current
simultaneously to electro coagulate the vessel, without dessicating
surrounding tissue. This treatment is self-limiting and vessel
specific, resulting in minimal skin reaction. Low treatment energy does
not adversely affect the dermis to cause scarring or any other major
reaction.

IS SKIN PENETRATION BY A NEEDLE NECESSARY?

No! A non-invasive sterile probe is placed on the skin surface above
the vessel to be treated. There is no pressure or penetration of the
skin during treatment.

HOW IS THE NON-INVASIVE PROCEDURE DONE?

The surface of the skin is cleansed and prepped. A fine tipped sterile
probe is placed on the surface of the skin. Low-level RF and DC current
are passed through the probe to the vessel. The tiny vessel is clotted
or coagulated and blood stops flowing. With proper post treatment care
the vessel is naturally absorbed into the surrounding tissue. Typically
within three to four weeks the vessel disappears.

HOW DID I GET THEM?

Heredity seems to be the most popular theory. It is noted that those
with fair skin have a higher incidence of telangiectasia while more
olive complexions have few problems. Other contributing to the
theories include age, hormones, sun exposure, alcohol consumption and
other predisposing medical conditions. Trauma to the skin may also
cause telangiectasia to develop. Whatever their origin, these vascular
blemishes can be removed easily and permanently with a device called
VASCUTOUCH™.
